Arches Aquarelle cold pressed watercolour paper is 100% cotton and naturally white with an even grain, offering the perfect surface for expressive washes or fine detailed paintings. Sized to the core to preserve the lustre and transparency of colours, this paper is strong enough to withstand heavy saturation, layering of colour, masking fluid, scrubbing and artist tape without damage to the surface.

Made to a professional grade, on a cylinder mould, this paper has deckled edges giving a soft, authentic feel.

These sheets are designed for watercolour painting, but are also suited to other wet media such as gouache or acrylic painting and printmaking.
